Posthaste Company

Posthaste began exporting Brazilian products in 2003 through our ecommerce website.  The site was pioneering in allowing buyers outside of Brazil to make retail purchases in US dollars of stock in Brazil, cutting through red tape, and without exorbitant shipping cost.

We are called Posthaste because we operate at lightening speed for our clients, even when Brazil presents its characteristic barriers.  When other companies say they “can’t”, Posthaste always aims to provide a workable solution.

How:
A number of innovative methods were employed to satisfy the complicated regulatory issues around small exports.  We have a proprietary software that is customized to produce the 100s of documents required for our batch shipments, satisfying the requirements of Brazilian customs, state tax inspectors, federal tax authorities, central bank regulations, and of bank foreign exchange department.

What we do:
We continue to make Brazilian products available to retail buyers around the world.  We also have handled sourcing of Brazilian products for hundreds of companies around the world.  We are a legal Brazilian “commercial import/export” firm that is licensed by the federal government to import and export products on behalf of other companies.

We have also started to assist companies that need to import products from outside of Brazil for resale in the national market.

Who we are:
The Posthaste team is growing.  Our team is multi-lingual, multi-national.  Our employees have degrees from some of the best universities in Brazil (FGV and PUC in Rio de Janeiro).  We are young, and bring a fresh approach to the complexity and challenges of international commerce.

We are also highly local: Posthaste hires over 50% of our employees from Rio’s famous Roçinha community, where we have found highly talented and dedicated individuals.  They are dedicated to making our company grow, and to serving our customers.
